Well there's only 24 days until the movie comes out and I want to talk about some of the trailers  I have missed

It looks awesome right? Riding a baby triceratops, baby dinosaur petting zoo, it's great! Except when the pteranadon brutally murders the baby triceratops. But except that it's great!

Origins of dinosaur sounds in Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park was thought to have some great sound effects for their dinosaurs, they made sounds that could have been straight from the mouths of the 65 million year old creatures. But what were these sounds as Jurassic Park sound director Gary Rydstrom said "It’s somewhat embarrassing, but when the raptors bark at each other to communicate, it’s a tortoise having sex. It’s a mating tortoise! I recorded that at Marine World … the people there said, ‘Would you like to record these two tortoises that are mating?’" Yep the sounds of the raptors are two tortoises getting down and dirty, I don't have anything else to say about that.

Who is the real Antagonist of Jurassic World?

It might seem at first glance that the Indominus Rex will be the main antagonist of the film, as we saw in the trailer it is a perfect killing machine, slaughtering anything it see's for fun. But as we saw in the first two movies the dinosaurs were never the antagonists at all, but the people who tried to steal them. From Dennis Nedry to Lewis Dodgson the humans caused the problem and in the first two movies both the antagonists were killed by a dinosaur, sure the raptors felt like the antagonist in the first film but they are just animals. In the first two movies you felt emotionally connected with the creatures, Jurassic Park three lacked this and wasn't as big of a hit as the first two movies. instead of making a human responsible it pit everything against the dinosaurs, every single one tried to kill them, there was no connection between the dinosaurs and main characters. The only friendly dinosaurs were simply placed in the background for a few cinematic moments. So did Universal realize it's mistake and pit us against a single human enemy or did they just make the Indominus Rex slaughter everything and everyone? Either way I'm going to see the movie.

    

Bryce Dallas Howards Dream

Bryce Dallas Howard will be playing park operations manager Claire Dearing in the highly anticipated Jurassic World film, and the actress is whetting fans' excitement about the film even more by saying that everything about the new movie is a "dream come true.
                  "That trailer is extremely fun. Everything about doing Jurassic World was a dream come true. I did an ADR session the other day and it's looking sensational!" she said in the Jurassic World website.

Howard is all praises for the film directed by Colin Trevorrow, and even guaranteed that fans would love it as much as she does. When asked if she had a favorite scene in the movie, the actress was hard pressed for answers.

"I would have played a tree in the background if they asked me to! It's hard to choose the biggest highlight because it was my first movie back after having my daughter and I was just pinching myself the whole time because I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Jurassic Park is so iconic and getting to be a part of that in any way is astonishing," she gushed.

Not a lot has been revealed about the Jurassic World plot, although the trailer has shown that a new hybrid dinosaur manages to break free from its enclosure and wreaks havoc in the entire park. Of course, this hybrid dinosaur is none other than the park's most terrifying and ferocious dinosaur to date the Indominus Rex.

Howard agreed that the movie will definitely scare the pants off audiences, but she has chosen to remain tight-lipped when asked about Claire Dearing's most terrifying encounter with the dinosaurs.
"My scariest moment is hard without giving too much of the plot away," she admitted.
But according to the cast and crew of Jurassic World, there are actually things that are even more terrifying than the park dinosaurs.

"I will say this: relaunching an iconic franchise is terrifying for all involved. There's just so much to live up to. If you get it right though, it's thrilling," said Howard.

Jurassic Worlds inaccurate dinosaurs?

As it gets closer to the release of the movie, experts are saying that the dinosaurs are inaccurate! Realy, did you come to a syfy movie to see a documentary? Even if they are inaccurate are they just to change the dinosaurs and change the franchise? How would a new line of accurate dinosaurs fit in to the story? Oh they have feathers now! So step off a bit experts you have to remember it is a syfy movie.

 

Jurassic Worlds "New" Dinosaurs

I have done some research and figured out something, on the Jurassic world website if you select the park attraction T-rex kingdom in the description it says this line "After all she's been feeding on Isla Nubla for over 25 years!" Although cool to think it's the same T-Rex as the first film, it makes me wonder, are all the dinosaurs at Jurassic World simply the old ones from the original park? Although some such as the Velociraptors ( Because the originals are dead.) and the Indomnius Rex, almost every other dinosaur was at the original park. Before you say the are new dinosaurs if you remember correctly Alan Grant and gang did not complete the tour. And their were embryos for every dinosaur on the list for the upcoming film, remember the part where Nedry was stealing the embryos? Well some had the "new"dinosaurs we hadn't seen and all of the unfaced dinosaurs are in the new movie. So did Simon Masrani just put all the old guys back in their pens and fill the blanks? Did the Masrani Corporation find the embryos that Nedry dropped in the first film? Well we will just have to wait and see.

Lego Jurassic World

If you were not aware Lego was to make a game for the upcoming movie, it will feature content from all four movies and will be released about the same time as the film. Hasbro is also releasing a new line of toys for the new film including a hybrid called Stegoceratops?, this strange hybrid may just reveal that their are other hybrids in the film then just the fearsome Indomnius Rex.

Pratts Raptor Squad

As you know if you saw the Jurassic World Super Bowl Ad,  apparently Chris Pratt controls a team of park velociraptors, it may seem a little silly but if you remember in the first  book Henry Wu says that they should change the dinosaurs so the match people's expectations,  the argument then goes on to say that they can change the dinosaurs however they want, so did Simon Masrani and the Jurassic World geneticists change the dinosaurs to make them more passive and even tameable? Is their more that meets the eye? I guess we will have to wait and see.

Prehistoric Kingdom

Due to unfortunate lies and incidents about the game Prehistoric Kingdom I am cutting all support from the project and advising you to not donate or support the project. A while ago, one of the game developers stole donated money raised on Kickstarter and lied about being given permission to use the Jurassic Park name, so I herby denounce all support for the project.

Although not technically dinosaurs these aquatic creatures are still cool enough to talk about and are interesting creature. Trevorrow's guide to the first Jurassic World trailer!

Director Colin Trevorrow took time out of his post-production schedule to speak with Empire Magazine about the recently released Jurassic World trailer and guide us through it.The trailer has been viewed almost 30 million times and is still climbing. It has been met with a mostly positive response, although has raised some questions. Why creature a new, super predator? How safe is the park? How close are Owen and Beth? Are those Raptors trained?

 "There is no shortage of awesome [real] dinosaurs. We could have populated this entire story with new species that haven’t been in any of these movies. But this new creation is what gave me a reason to tell another Jurassic Park story. We have the most awe-inspiring creatures to ever walk the Earth right in front of us, but for some reason that’s not enough. We're always hungry for the next thing, and those who profit from it are always looking to feed that hunger. The focus groups want something bigger than a T-Rex. And that’s what they get."

Next, Colin spoke about how the Mosasaur came to be:

"The idea came out in one of our first meetings, I didn’t know if Steven [Spielberg] and Frank [Marshall] had considered an underwater reptile, so I pitched the mosasaurus and went off on the idea. I thought it would be cool if we had this massive animal and the park used one of our most fearsome modern predators as food. There could be a whole other facility where they used shark DNA to mass-produce them to feed the bigger beast. It’s a bonkers idea, but I'm comfortable going to Crazytown, because I used to live there when I was a kid."

One of the biggest concepts that has always worried the audience is the "trained" dinosaurs idea - something that was explored in John Sayles' 2004 Jurassic Park 4 draft.Velociraptor DNA was blended with human and dog DNA to create Di-Hu-Ogs - a fearce new breed that could be trained. However, that idea was luckily dropped fairly quickly, and is not included in Jurassic World.

"Owen’s relationship with the raptors is complicated. They aren't friends. These animals are nasty and dangerous and they'll bite your head off if you make the wrong move. But there are men and women out there today who have forged tenuous connections with dangerous predators. That's interesting territory to me."

When asked if the T-Rex will return, Colin replied straight to the point: "You bet your ass you will."

Dreadnoughtus schrani

A newly unearthed “supermassive” dinosaur, Dreadnoughtus schrani, is the largest known land animal for which mass can be accurately calculated, concludes a new study.

Its name might be a tongue-twister, but Leikupal Laticauda has vaulted into the upper reaches of dinosaur stardom.

The dinosaur, whose scientific name means “fear nothing” and is nicknamed “Dread,” is described in the latest issue of Scientific Reports. Dread measured 85 feet long and weighed about 65 tons, according to the study, which also reports that the dinosaur’s skeleton is the most complete ever found for its type.

Interesting Facts about Jurassic World

     Jurassic World, the "World’s Greatest Theme Park," opened for business in June 2005. According to the section of the viral site dedicated to Jurassic World – also labeled as "the safest theme park in the world" – the park played host to 98,120 visitors during its first month of operation. Right, but how many of them were accidentally devoured by the park’s attractions? 

    This knowledge actually comes from the official Jurassic World web site, which has a countdown clock ticking away toward… something. I’m going on record as saying it’s the first Jurassic World trailer. And if you do the math, you realize it’s supposed to drop on Thanksgiving Day. In the evening. Possibly during football. Pass the turkey, and run from dinosaurs. 

    The new park, Jurassic World, has been constructed on Isla Nublar – the site of the horrors featured in the original Jurassic Park (as opposed to the sister location of Isla Sorna, featured in Joe Johnston’s 2001 sequel Jurassic Park III). The site claims that the "events" of the early Jurassic Park movies created a "frenzy" in the media. "Conservation groups around the globe were looking and waiting for any incident to tarnish our reputation to try and take Isla Nublar away from us," the site reports. "We had to set a feeling of safety, for when the time came for opening in 2005, we had to ensure people were willing to come." And they do come. The dinosaurs have to eat something, after all.
